Foothills outside Los Angeles · Operating under California SB-XX pilot authorization
Waterfall Springs is a supervised consumption and overdose prevention site. Sterile supplies, medical oversight, and a calm doorway to care — for whenever someone is ready.
What we offer
Every service at Waterfall Springs is grounded in evidence-based harm reduction. We meet people where they are, and we keep them alive long enough to choose what comes next.
Clean, private booths monitored by trained medical staff. If something goes wrong, we respond in seconds — not minutes.
Free naloxone, training, and rescue care. Every visitor leaves with the means to save someone else's life too.
New syringes, pipes, cookers, and fentanyl/xylazine test strips. Fewer infections, fewer surprises.
Wound care, MAT (buprenorphine/methadone) referrals, HIV/HCV testing, and primary care navigation.
People with lived experience walk alongside you — whatever 'progress' looks like in your life today.
When you're ready, we have warm handoffs to detox, residential treatment, and long-term recovery housing.

Our approach
Supervised consumption sites have operated in Canada, Europe, and Australia for decades. Across more than 200 facilities worldwide, no one has ever died of an overdose inside one. We exist because dying alone in a parking lot is not a consequence anyone deserves.
The place
Waterfall Springs sits on forty acres of oak meadow in the foothills north of Los Angeles. Most clinical settings feel like crisis. Ours feels like the kind of place you'd be invited to rest. That matters — people return to spaces that treat them like they belong.
Gardens, shaded benches, a community kitchen, and Sunday family days for visitors' loved ones.

Plan a visit
Walk in any day of the week. If you can't get here, call us — we can arrange transportation from most of the greater Los Angeles area.
Support our work
Waterfall Springs is a registered 501(c)(3). We're funded by individuals, foundations, and a small public-health grant. Every dollar buys naloxone, sterile supplies, and the staff hours that keep our doors open.
